Previous Trips

In 2011, Alternative Spring Break traveled to Newland, North Carolina. A group of eight Delta students donated their time to help with the local Habitat for Humanity. They teamed up with Vanderbilt University students, and working Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 3:30pm, helped build a home. Because of this service, one lucky Newland family was able to live in a house again.
