Course Placement

Ready to keep that admission process going? Take your placement exam. It doesn't take long. When you're done we'll be able to get you a class schedule that's right for you.

ACCUPLACER® is Delta’s assessment for course placement. Students taking the exam have several options as to where and when they would like to take it. You can test at our Main Campus, one of our off-campus centers or at a high school or career center near your home. All course placement testing is on a first come, first serve basis and is completely free.

Arrive Early

ACCUPLACER® is not a timed test, so you want to allow yourself as much time as possible to complete it. We suggest arriving at least two hours before closing time.

The Delta College Testing Center is certified by the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and we follow all NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.

SUCCESS TIP:  Gets lots of sleep and eat a healthy meal beforehand.

It's true, getting a lot of sleep the night before you take a test will help you do better. And, making sure you have a good healthy meal will help too. No one functions well when they're tired and hungry.
