Complete New Student Orientation

Feedback indicates students enjoy higher success rates and quicker acclamation by attending an orientation. We offer two different models in which you may complete your orientation, In-person (a structured session on campus lead by Delta College staff) or Online (to be completed at your leisure any time day or night and does not have to be completed in one session).

Prior to starting either orientation, you will need to sign up for a Delta College Electronic Account.

To reserve a seat for an On-campus orientation, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to MyDelta with your electronic account user name and password. 
2. Click on Students
3. Click on Search/Register for Sections.
4. In the term field, select orientation from the drop down menu.
5. Click Submit.
6. Choose the one that you want to attend by putting a check mark in the box next to it.
7. Click Submit. You have not completed the registration at this point, you need to do the next step to complete your registration and reserve your seat.
8. On the next page, click on the drop down arrow next to the date you selected, select register and submit.
9. Print your confirmation page for your records.

To use online orientation you will need:

• A modern PC or Mac computer
• Speakers
• Minimum 1Mbs Internet connection
• Minimum Internet Explorer 6 or higher or Firefox 2.0 or higher
• Silverlight 3 (will be installed automatically)

If you are unable to use this application due to a disability please contact the Disability Services office at (989) 686-9322. If you do not have a computer that meets these requirements, you can take online orientation on campus in the LLIC or at the Admissions Office.
