Complete New Student Orientation
Feedback indicates students enjoy higher success rates and quicker acclamation to the college environment by participating in orientation. Beginning June 1, 2012, a new two-step orientation will provide students more tools for college success. Step one is our online orientation which provides a lot of information such as how to register for classes, complete with a registration simulation. After conclusion of the online orientation, students will register themselves for step two, the in-person Pioneer Prep session, by following these directions:
- Click on the link toward the bottom of the page “Click here to register for Pioneer Prep”
- Students will automatically be directed to a form to be complete schedule a Pioneer Prep date.
NOTE: Prior to either orientation, you will need to sign up for a Delta College Electronic Account.
To use online orientation you will need:
- A modern PC or Mac computer
- Minimum 1Mbs Internet connection
- Minimum Internet Explorer 6 or higher or Firefox 2.0 or higher
- Silverlight 3 (will be installed automatically)
If you are unable to use this application due to a disability please contact the Disability Resources office at (989) 686-9322. If you do not have a computer that meets these requirements, you can complete online orientation on campus in the Library (LLIC) or at the Admissions Office.
