Information Technology & Security Club

The Information Technology and Security (ITS) club brings together students interested in computers and cybersecurity activities. Members offer computer repair services to the community, providing an opportunity to practice problem solving skills, meet IT professionals and gain some real-world experience before you graduate.

Members of the ITS Club have the opportunity to gain real life skills by hosting Computer Repair Clinics and assisting with large event setups around campus.

MEMBER Benefits

A regular series of events and activities provide ITS club members with the hands-on experience repairing computers and mobile devices that employers are looking for. For example, the club hosts free repair clinics for the community two Fridays a month in the fall and winter semesters. And the club is actively engaged in providing IT assistance with the annual Delta College STEM event. Many of these events are attended by professionals in the field, providing a great networking opportunity.

Members also have an opportunity to receive two vouchers to take the A+ certification test.

"Because our club operates like any PC and phone repair store, it gave me the hands-on experience of professional computer repair when I had no previous professional experience in computer repair. It’s a great way to learn computers and phones more in depth."
