Chamber Choir

The Delta College Chamber Choir is the newest choral ensemble at Delta, and the only auditioned group. There are typically 12 to 16 members depending upon the number of auditionees, and the number of open positions. The Chamber Choir began in the spring of 2007 with a mission of performing literature expressly written for small chamber ensembles.

In the fall of 2007, the Chamber Choir premiered a new work by composer Wendel Werner and met with great success. Membership is by audition only. Auditions are open to any student, employee or faculty and this course may be taken for credit (MUS 155). Auditions are typically held at the end of each semester.
