The 2013 LAND (Liberal Arts Network Development) Student Writing Contest is now open and receiving entries.

Cash prizes award in all categories: Poetry - Fiction - Personal Essay

Local 1st and 2nd prize entries will go on to compete in the state-wide competition for the possibility of receiving additional cash prizes and winning entries being published.

Eligibility: Enrolled in for Academic classes in Winter, 2013, Spring/Summer 2013, and/or Fall 2013.

The English Division offers students opportunities with diverse literature, essay writing, research writing, creative writing, technical writing, and journalism. We also believe in offering the support students need to begin to grow from almost any starting point. Our mission is to educate our students to be effective writers, comprehensive readers, and coherent communicators in academia and in their professional and personal lives.
