Strategic Evaluation of Centers
Delta has hired SmithGroup JJR and Paulien & Associates to conduct a study to evaluate Delta’s facility use, including the efficacy of reprogramming, expanding, contracting, and/or relocating the Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City Centers. This evaluation will address various scale questions ranging from enrollment changes, readiness, regional competition, program delivery, middle college academy concept, and market-driven asset realignment.
We are aggressively gathering information as part of this review process, which will allow the College leadership and Board of Trustees to make data-informed decisions about the future of these important college assets.
The planning team will utilize feedback from the community to help set expectations, establish goals, and develop strategic planning principles. These principles will help us examine access, participation, economic development, enrollment growth and local community support.
