Financial Aid Office

Financial Aid Office

More than 50 percent of registered students at Delta College receive financial aid disbursements totaling over $36 million annually.

A Delta College education is an exceptional value. Even so, paying for college can sometimes be a challenge. The Financial Aid and Student Finance offices work together to provide valuable assistance to help you finance this investment in your future. In addition to our low tuition rates, we offer a wide range of Federal, State and institutional financial aid programs. Also, a convenient, interest-free payment plan is available, allowing students to spread the cost of their tuition and fees over multiple payments.

The Financial Aid Office can help you learn your financial options and provides access to resources in a fair, compassionate manner. We provide guidance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), determining how much and what types of assistance are available to you and applying aid to your student account.

Note about balance checks: Student Finance will be sending out emails when balance checks will be ready for pick-up. Check your Delta email regularly.

To ensure that your financial aid is processed in a timely manner, It is recommended that you submit your FAFSA by June 1.

Any necessary documentation required for the upcoming semesters should be submitted at least 5 weeks prior to payment deadline to ensure enough time for review by a Financial Aid Advisor. If you are unsure as to what documentation is required, please review the My Documents link in your MyDelta account and check your Delta e-mail regularly.
