Radiography Program Goals

  1. The program will provide the health care community with competent entry-level radiographers.
  2. Graduates (students will demonstrate appropriate interpersonal communication skills.
  3. Graduates (students) will demonstrate appropriate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  4. All graduates (students) will recognize the values and ethics of a professional radiographer and the importance of life-long learning.
  5. Students will be clinically competent.

Student Learning Outcomes

1a.  Employers will indicate satisfaction with preparation of graduates

1c.  Graduates will be able to competently perform all aspects of a radiographic examination

1d.  Graduates will pass the ARRT examination

1e.  Graduates will become employed as radiographers

1f.   The program will graduate students entering the program

3a.  Graduates will be adequately prepared to think critically in order to meet patient needs
