Humanities Division

Humanities Division faculty engage students in holistic learning. They offer courses in a variety subjects within Art, Electronic Media Broadcasting, Communication, Foreign Languages, Music, and Philosophy disciplines. Studying Humanities fosters student development by cultivating creativity, critical thinking skills, and knowledge. It encourages an awareness of diverse educational experiences that contribute to student intellectual, emotional and spiritual awareness and growth.

The Choirs of Delta College present their annual Spring Masterworks Concert. This year's featured work will be The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass composed by Carol Barnett and will feature the Delta College Chorale and Chamber Choir accompanied by bluegrass instruments. This concert will also include the Delta College Jazz Singers.

Admission is $10.00 each, with all concert proceeds will go towards the choirs’ trip to perform at Carnegie Hall in June. For more information contact Dr. Tim Hendrickson, Director of Musical Arts at 989-686-9373 or
