Celebrate your child's birthday in celestial style at the Delta College Planetarium & Learning Center. Our staff will assist you in making a few simple decisions to customize your event and make it an out of this world experience!
The Solar System Party
- Admission to a public Planetarium show (birthday party must be scheduled at a time to coincide with our public show schedule)
- Your child’s name on the Planetarium dome prior to the show
- Room rental (half hour prior to public show and one hour after show)
- Birthday cake with child’s name, vanilla ice cream and large container of ice water
- Paper plates, napkins, plastic forks and spoons included

Cost is $8 a person plus the $25 non-refundable deposit. There is a minimum group size of 8; maximum group size 30 including children and adults.
The Galaxy Party
Admission to a public Planetarium show (birthday party must be scheduled at a time to coincide with our public show schedule)
- Your child’s name on the Planetarium dome prior to the show
- Priority/first seating for the public show
- Room rental (half hour prior to public show and one hour after show including interactive activity)
- 15 minutes of an interactive activity with one of our staff members
- Cheese plus one topping pizza (two slices per person), birthday cake with child’s name, vanilla ice cream and lemonade
- Paper plates, napkins, plastic forks and spoons included
- 10% gift shop discount coupon for birthday child (valid 30 days from party)
- Cost is $12 a person plus the $25 non-refundable deposit. There is a minimum group size of 8; maximum group size 30 including children and adults.
The Universe Party
- PRIVATE Planetarium show (you will pick the show title from our available shows)
- Your child’s name on the Planetarium dome prior to your private show
- Room rental (half hour prior to private show and 1.5 hours after show including interactive activity)
- 30 minutes of an interactive activity with one of our staff members
- Cheese plus two toppings pizza (two slices per person), birthday cake with child’s name, vanilla ice cream and assorted sodas or juice
- Paper plates, napkins, plastic forks and spoons included
- 20% gift shop discount coupon for birthday child (valid 30 days from party)
For up to 20 persons (children and adults), cost is $10 a person plus the $25 non-refundable deposit and $125 for the private show. For 21-100 people (children and adults), cost is $16 a person plus the $25 non-refundable deposit.
