The President’s Speaker Series is proud to host civic activist and social change and technology expert Erica Williams.
Erica Williams is a civic innovator and activist, passionate about engaging the next generation in civic life and social change. She is dedicated to providing a strong voice to groups normally without influence in the power corridors of Washington, D.C. Erica Williams is CEO of the non-profit Foolish Life Ventures. She was named a "Global Shaper" by the World Economic Forum and named, along with Michelle Obama, to "The Grio's 100".

About Erica Williams
Before Foolish Life Ventures, Erica served as Senior Strategist at Citizen Engagement Lab (CEL). CEL is an accelerator for people-powered projects like ColorofChange.org and UltraViolet.org that use digital media and cultural organizing to engage communities in social change. Prior to this role, Erica was the co-founder of Progress 2050, a project of the Center for American Progress that develops new ideas for an increasingly diverse America.
Listed by Politico.com as one of 50 Top Politicos, Erica’s work first gained national attention as the Deputy Director & Director of Advocacy at Campus Progress, the nation’s largest national youth advocacy organization. While there she led tens of thousands of Americans in advancing progressive policy with and for young people focused on economic justice, college affordability, educational equity, health care, and clean energy.
