GLBR sustainability

Delta College A-035

Because of our ever-changing physical and economic environment, many people have taken great interest in sustainability, resilience, localization, and resource reallocation. Here at Delta College we have become committed to the Triple Bottom Line toward sustainability.

The Great Lakes Bay Region Food Systems and Land Use Conversation gives the entire Great Lakes Bay Region and Delta College community a chance to see what productive and effectual work is happening on the campus and beyond. Join us for presentations by Julie Darton of MSUExtension and Padriac Jameson to learn about creating regional food systems and community gardens.

Listen, learn, and offer suggestions toward any project currently underway or any project that might be born of this (and other conversations).

It is our overarching goal to make connections between people, projects and initiatives in the Great Lakes Bay Region, and to begin to serve as an hub for sustainability work, ideas, and resources.
