Kyle Schmiedeknecht is a Welding Engineering major from Midland. He got his start at Delta and will transfer to Ferris State University to get his bachelor's degree.

 

What I Learned at Delta

I learned the value of networking. It's so important to have good relationships with people, because you never know when you may need their help.

My Experience at Delta

In my two semesters at Delta I've taken 47 credits, so my experience here has been pretty much business only. But the Welding Engineering program has some really great instructors that make the less glamorous aspects of welding very entertaining.

Plans for the Future

I plan to attend Ferris State University in the fall. There I will be getting a B.S. in Welding Engineering.
