Local Anesthesia Refresher
This hands-on course will provide a review of critical anatomy and injection techniques including application of those techniques. You will be able to administer local anesthetics in a safe and effective manner for pain control. The participant will complete four total hours including: didactic and laboratory/clinical experience include demonstrations, practice and evaluation of local anesthesia techniques including field infiltration and nerve block anesthesia.

4 Continuing Education Units
All Delta College LifeLong Learning dental continuing education units are approved by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Students will practice injections on each other in the clinical portions. Clinical attire and safety glasses are required. Participants must complete a medical history and sign a consent form on the first day of class.
This course is a refresher of the material previously covered in Local Anesthesia (Course # CUD-2057). Students must have successfully completed CUD-2057 to participate in the refresher course.
