Heavy Equipment Operator

If you are looking for a leader in heavy equipment operator training, look no further. Delta College LifeLong Learning in partnership with  AIS Construction Corporation is your key to an exciting and rewarding career in the heavy equipment operator industry. This program is focused on giving you the skills and experience to find employment as a heavy equipment operator. Together we offer training on a variety of heavy equipment: backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, wheel loader, forklift and skidsteer.

Our heavy equipment operator training focuses on the hands-on, and skills training aspects of heavy equipment operation. Students will learn to safely inspect and operate heavy equipment under conditions normally found on the job site.

Heavy Equipment Operators are listed as one of Michigan’s Top 50 Hot Jobs. The Michigan Bureau of Labor Market Information is projecting an annual projected job growth rate of over 10% through the year 2012 with an average hourly rate of over $20.00 per hour. For complete information, please visit the Michigan Jobs & Career Portal on the official State of Michigan Website
