Mexican Culture I & II

Mexican Culture I
Mexican Culture I will give campers a taste of Mexico and its rich culture! Campers will explore the remarkable history of Latinos in the United States by participating in interactive activities including crafting a cornhusk doll, learning about life in the barrio, making cascarones (confetti filled eggs), and creating loteria boards (Mexican BINGO). Come join in the fun with what Passover means to this culture!

Mexican Culture II
Join the streets of Harlem with the beat of Spanish and Latino music in Mexican Culture II. Campers will dance into the conga line, learn the steps of the Mexican Hat Dance, make a Milagro, create a mural, and craft a paper piñata. This camp will expose youth to Hispanic heritage and culture  through interactive and educational activities.
