How to Print a Citation from EBSCO Databases
STEP One: You need to have the bibliographic record or full-text article on the screen.
Click the "Print" button/link on the far right of the screen.
STEP Two: You will need to make some changes if you need to print ONLY the citation.
The print feature is programmed to print the entire article so you need to remove the check mark within the box next to the text "HTML Full Text (when available)." Click within the box that has the check mark and the check mark will disappear. With the check mark gone, the computer will print the citation, only.
The computer is programmed to automatically print the citation in MLA format. You can click on the down arrow and change the format. PLEASE NOTE that many of these databases provide citations that are not quite right according to the latest edition style manual. We have examples of APA, MLA, and AMA formats on the library's Research Tips web page.
Click on the "Print" button.
STEP Three: Click on the "Print" button and the citation will be printed.
