Receive Delta College Email on a Mobile Device

Most smart phones and tablet devices have built-in email functionality which can be setup to access your Delta College email. It is important to note that setting up your device to access email can use a great deal of data. If you are setting up your email on a mobile phone or cellular device, consult your service provider and your plan to ensure you have the proper data allowance. Delta College is not responsible for any finance charges levied by wireless providers. When possible, utilize free wi-fi such as the Delta College wireless network to reduce any possible data usage overages.

As there are numerous varied devices on the market, the instructions below are generalized. You may need to consult the manufacture or device manual for specific instructions unique to your device.

General Setup Instructions

1. Open the email application installed on your phone (most smart phones/tablets come with an email application built-in)
2. Depending on your device, select the email option that closest matches one of the items below:
   1. Corporate/Corporate Sync
   2. Exchange
   3. Microsoft Exchange
3. The following information will be required within the setup of your email. Again, this varies between devices; consult your device manual for device specific instructions.

   Email Settings
   Domain:	delta.edu
   Username:	Your Delta College username (your email address without the @delta.edu)
   Password:	Your Delta College Password (Note when your password changes, you will need to change this setting on your device)
   Server/Exchange Server:	exch07ca1.delta.edu

4. If there is an option for "Use Secure Connection (SSL)" or "Accept all SSL certificates", be sure to check/enable them
