Sustainable Efforts in Printing Services

Delta College's Printing Services is committed to the environment and proactively supports sustainable initiatives. 

Paper

Printing Services stocks several varieties of paper which contain up to 20% post-consumer recycled content.  All convenience copiers use paper that contains 30% post-consumer waste recycled content. 

Ink

Press jobs at Delta College utilize vegetable-based ink, which is an environmentally friendly, healthy and safe approach to printing.  The production of this ink requires only a small amount of energy to produce.

Technology

Software has been implemented in Printing Services which allows the electronic submission of jobs from Delta College's faculty and staff.  This will nearly eliminate the need to send hard copy print orders or original documents to be reproduced.
