Delta College is committed to conducting all of its activities in a manner that is sensitive to the environment. As an educational institution, we regularly review our operations to find areas where we can introduce environmental best practices. For new construction and renovations, this means using the best designs available that meet building-code-approved energy efficiency standards. These standards, together with water conservation, recycling, and the use of renewable resources, are what we mean by the term sustainability.
