2.012 Professional Integrity

1. 1. Statement of Values
      The principles of professional integrity are fundamental to a college community.  All Delta College Assembly Members are expected to honor these principles and are responsible for maintaining the integrity of professionalism at the College.
      Plagiarism or any misrepresentation of work, use of prohibited materials, and participation in any form of dishonesty represent examples of violations of this policy.
   2. Process for Policy Violations by Delta College Assembly Members
      Suspected violations will be reviewed by the Senate President and the College President.  Upon the recommendation of either one, the policy violation may be investigated by an ad hoc committee appointed and charged by both of them.  The membership of any such committee will represent each of the Assembly employee groups.  After an investigation of suspected violation, this committee shall produce an investigation summary and statement of findings and may recommend further action to the College President.
