The concert will include the premiere performance of “The Sweetness of Time Together,” composed by Catherine McMichael in memory of Mary H. Anderson, founder of the Delta Flute Choir. 

“Mary Anderson was my friend for many, many years, and I kept her sunny presence in front of me as I wrote this,” says Catherine. “I hope her radiant personality comes through in this piece.”

As one of Delta's most popular cultural contributions to the community, the sounds of this talented group of musicians have captivated audiences throughout the region. They have entertained thousands, playing for service clubs, civic organizations, solo recitals, conventions and college-related programs.

Refreshments and an opportunity to meet the composer and performers to follow the show. This event is free and open to the public.
