Officials from both institutions gathered at Delta’s main campus on June 22 to sign a new 3+1 transfer agreement for CMU’s Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership program.
This agreement allows students to complete up to 90 credit hours (three years) at Delta before transferring to complete their final 30 credits (1 year) through CMU’s fully online program.
“Structured transfer pathways matter,” said Delta College Interim President Andrea Ursuy. “This articulation in Organizational Leadership will encourage more students to complete their associate’s degree at Delta before transferring, maximizing affordability, strengthening student success and creating a seamless route to their bachelor’s degree.”
The new pathway also offers extended flexibility for students balancing education with work, family responsibilities and other commitments. Because the final coursework is completed online through CMU, students can continue pursuing their degree without relocating or putting their careers on hold.
The agreement builds on a partnership between Delta and CMU that spans more than two decades and reflects the commitment of both institutions in creating accessible, student-centered transfer opportunities within the Great Lakes Bay Region.
“Our relationship with CMU spans more than 25 years,” Ursuy said. “This long history reflects a shared commitment to creating clear and affordable pathways for students to achieve their educational goals.”
