Try Delta’s water workouts for arthritis relief

Get moving this May during National Arthritis Awareness Month with the Delta College Fitness and Rec Center’s Aquatic Exercise for Arthritis swim classes, led by experienced instructor Jeanne Place.

Held in Delta’s beautiful pool facility, this Arthritis Foundation–based aquatic program is designed to help reduce pain, improve flexibility and build strength through gentle, water-based movement. The classes are appropriate for all fitness levels.

Jeanne Place is a certified Arthritis Foundation and Red Cross aquatics instructor with 11 years of experience guiding participants through safe, effective aquatic exercise.

Whether you're newly diagnosed or managing long-term joint pain, this program offers a friendly, supportive space to move more comfortably.

Class schedule
Mondays, 9–10am
Wednesdays, 9–10am
Fridays, 9–10am

Fees
Monthly pass (unlimited classes for the calendar month): $25 members, $50 non-members
12-class punch card: $46 members, $92 non-members
Drop-in: $6 members, $11 non-members
