Online security is a growing and increasingly critical area of specialty. With Delta's Cybersecurity program, you will learn how to protect the private information of companies and their customers.

This program is designed to prepare you for challenging positions in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. This degree provides the skills and knowledge to protect, and if necessary, recover information from an information system. Our program includes the following highly recognized academies:

• Check Point SecureAcademy
• Red Hat Academy
• Cisco Networking Academy
• VMware IT Academy
• Microsoft Imagine Academy

Delta's cybersecurity associate's degree may be completed totally online. Some classes can be completed asynchronously while other classes and labs may allow synchronous remote connections during scheduled times.

Program details

Our degree prepares you for a career in cybersecurity. Delta recently renovated its information technology, computer science and office professions wing. The 16,500-square-foot renovation upgraded and revitalized the area to provide state-of-the-art computer labs, classrooms and study spaces.

1. Design effective security measures to maintain information.
2. Implement necessary security procedures for network information system.
3. Configure firewalls effectively.
4. Implement a plan to detect intruders.
5. Explain protocols related to disasters.
6. Configure a secure wireless network.
7. Perform security testing for a network or computer.
8. Implement security configurations on network devices.
9. Demonstrate competency in professional skills that meet or exceed current industry recognized standards.
