Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs and activities – including pregnancy status.
In compliance with Title IX, the Delta College administrators, faculty and Title IX Coordinator pledge to collaborate on a case-by-case basis with all students facing pregnancy and/or birth-related conditions that affect their courses. We also pledge to provide strategies that support the academic freedom of faculty and the academic integrity of the learning environment. We encourage any student facing these types of challenges to review Board Policy – 8.014 Title IX Rights of Pregnant and Parenting Students at Delta College, the procedures below and to also contact the Title IX Coordinator at titleix@delta.edu or 989-686-9547.

the Equity Office.
