Have fun with us while earning your Space Explorer's Try-It Badge!

We will…

• explore "OUR PLACE IN SPACE".
• learn the parts of a telescope and how to use one.
• travel (by simulation) to distant stars.
• learn all about stars and star maps and use them to find:
  • the North Star and the cardinal directions. 
  • constellation and asterisms (learn to find at least five).
  • visible planets. 

Completion of all workshop activities will qualify participating scouts to receive a printed Certificate of Completion. Scout leaders are responsible for obtaining official Cub Scout awards.
