The registration entry deadline will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
Important Notes:
Competition Starting Time: 8:30 a.m.
New Categories: Robotic Arm is a team event, with two (2) students per team. Chemical Process Tech is also a two (2) person team event. More information will be posted soon about these categories.
Machine Tool--Limited to one student per school.
Residential Construction--Two-student team competition (two teams per sponsoring school)
The awards program will be held at 12:00 Noon in the Lecture Theater so contestants can return to their home school on a timely basis.
First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive an award certificate, which will be presented at the awards ceremony.
Please advise the Competition Coordinating Committee if you know of any instructors or programs that may have been overlooked so we may contact them.
The Delta College Technical, Trades, and Manufacturing Division will host an informal gathering for faculty during the competition.
* All entrants in the Machine Tool categories: One student per school may compete in one category. A determination will be made on Wednesday, March 12, as to whether the competition can be opened up to additional contestants per school. Then more than one student per school may compete in the same category. This determination will be based upon availability of slots. Please check the web page for this information.
*All entrants in the Residential Construction competition: Only two teams per school. A determination will be made on March 11, 2013 or sooner as to whether the competition can be opened up to additional teams per school. This determination will be based upon availability of slots.
