Delta College career credential offerings are designed to give adults and working students the skills they need to secure a high wage high demand job in the region.

Chemical Processing Fast Start™  

This accelerated career credential training will result in a Certificate of Completion at Delta College and 23 academic credits toward an Associate Degree in Chemical Process Technology at Delta College. Making a journey to a degree faster for adult and working students.

This program is not eligible for student loans or financial aid. Those seeking financial support may have this training paid for by Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works if you are qualified. www.michiganworks.com to find a service center near you.

Warehouse & Logistics Fast Start™

A minimum of 80 roles are vacant now for warehouse and logistics technicians. Get trained and ready to be hired by regional employers in less than two weeks with Delta’s Warehouse & Logistics Technician Fast StartTM program. 

After you complete this 40 hour training you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Delta College, earn an OSHA 10 Safety Card and be certified to drive a fork truck.

MIOSHA Training

Employed adults can receive safety training conveniently at Delta College. Delta along with the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Michigan Training Institute offers MIOSHA training workshops for individuals wishing to upskill on new safety techniques. 

Part 12- Scaffolds and Scaffold Platforms

This course will be on commonly used scaffolds in the construction industry including ground supported, suspended, mobile, and rough terrain forklift scaffolds. Instructors will review the regulations in Part 12, importance of training on hazards associated with scaffolds and resources for employers who use scaffolding. Training delivered virtually. Individuals must have computer with audio/video capabilities and reliable internet connection. 

Time: 1 day training, 9am - 4pm
