Bernard C. and Lois K. Ulrich have established a scholarship fund to benefit students from Bay City Central High School. 

Bernard and Lois strongly believed that nothing enhanced a person's life as much as an education. They both taught at Bay City Central and wanted to help students from that school gain a certificate or an associate's degree. There are no age or graduation restrictions. Applicants need only to have been students at Bay City Central High. 

Bernard taught at Bay City Central from 1959 until his death in 1981. Lois retired from Bay City Central in 1989.
