Delta honored the most recent class of graduates at the annual commencement ceremony on Friday, April 28. Over 250 of the 1,700+ associate degree or certificate graduates of the past year attended our annual commencement ceremony in Delta's Pioneer Gymnasium.

Each year, two graduates are selected to speak at Commencement. This year's speakers were James Quinn and Ali Bourcier-Schultz. James graduated with an Associate in Science degree in computer science and business. He was a member of Delta's Honors Program, the President of Delta's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and a student Senator. Ali Bourcier-Schultz graduated with an Associate in Science degree. She was awarded the YWCA's Emergent Young Leader award in 2016 and named to the First Team All Academic All American team for soccer. Ali also received the Board of Trustees 4.0 GPA Student Graduate Award.

Since 1961, Delta College has shown how the dreams investing in one institution can impact the lives of tens of thousands. Through the years, the programs, technology and faces of Delta have changed, but what hasn’t changed is Delta’s commitment to providing students a place where their dreams can become a reality.
