Delta College has partnered with the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District Career Center to offer onsite dual enrollment classes at the Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center beginning this fall.

“Offering college classes at the BAISD Career Center is a unique opportunity for students to earn college credit at no cost, to become acclimated to the rigors of college in a familiar environment, and ultimately increase their likelihood to succeed,” said Lindsey Bourassa, associate director of admissions and dual enrollment at Delta College.

Superintendent Michael Vieau, BAISD Educational Service Center, praised the partnership as a “tremendous opportunity” for the students within the Bay-Arenac district.

“Empowering students with this unique dual enrollment opportunity will not only ignite their academic journey but also lights the path to a future rich with possibilities,” Vieau said. “By earning college credits while in high school, our students are not only saving money but investing in their own potential, forging a bridge to higher education and career success."

Priority placement in Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center classes will be given to Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District students and all Delta College courses provided under this agreement will be provided to BAISD schools. Enrollment is still open for dual courses including ENG 111 and PSY 211W.

Students who are interested in the program can contact Delta College’s Dual Enrollment office at 989-686-9428 or dualenrollment@delta.edu. For more information, visit baisd.net.
