An afternoon exploring the magic of music

Delta’s own music professor Brad DeRoche will be performing a classical guitar concert on Sunday, December 2 at 2pm in the Delta College Lecture Theater (G-160). The concert will include covers of works by Albeniz, Tarrega and Bach.

Playing the guitar since the age of six, Dr. DeRoche has explored a wide variety of music styles throughout his life and earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Classical Guitar from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Aside from teaching at Delta and Central Michigan University, he also is an active concert artist appearing as a soloist, chamber musician and an orchestral soloist in North and South America. In 2017, Dr. Deroche was awarded the Bergstein Award for Teaching Excellence at Delta.

Come and join us in experiencing an afternoon of music, as Dr. DeRoche graces our stage with evocative style, elegant artistry and the beauty of classical guitar. The show is open to the public and tickets are available at the door and are $10 per person.
