New Foundation Directors

The Delta College Foundation Board of Directors recently welcomed three new members, who have joined for three-year terms through 2020.

Paul BarbeauPaul Barbeau is President and General Manager of the Great Lakes Loons in Midland and President of the Michigan Baseball Foundation. He joined the Great Lakes Loons in 2006 and, since 2014, has served as the Executive Director of Momentum Midland, which invests in public spaces and commercial projects in and around downtown Midland.

Mark FlegenheimerMark Flegenheimer has been President of Michigan Sugar Company since 1998 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He joined Michigan Sugar in 1994 and has also served as Vice President of Imperial Sugar Company since 1998.

 

Edith (Dee Dee) WacksmanEdith (Dee Dee) Wacksman is a community volunteer in Bay City who served on the Delta College Board of Trustees from 1999 to 2016. She was Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2004, and she returns to the Foundation Board after having served from 2000 to 2006.

 

Officers of the Delta College Foundation Board of Directors this year are: Chair, Tina S. Van Dam, Trustee for the Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Foundation, and retired Corporate Secretary and Senior Counsel for The Dow Chemical Company; Vice Chair, David Morley, President of the Morley Family Foundation; and Immediate Past Chair, Mike Kelly, Director of the Great Lakes Office of The Conservation Fund in Bay City.

The Delta College Foundation exists to raise, receive and administer donations to benefit the College’s students, educational programs, staff development and capital projects. Since 1978, the Delta College Foundation has raised nearly $90 million to support students and help fill other critical financial needs of the College.
