College 101
This optional workshop is designed for new students before attending your first semester. We will go over topics such as time management, procrastination, getting connected at college, where to go for help, and other resources. There will also be time for you to ask your own questions. Our goal is to set you up for success in college.
How to register
Find dates and times that fits your schedule through the Student Success Events card in Experience. Once you find the event time of your choice, click on the event and follow the prompts to register. You will receive a confirmation email to your Delta email after registering.
Who should attend and when
If you are brand new to college and have completed your online orientation, then this is a great place for you to be! College 101 workshops are intended to best support new incoming students to give you tips and tricks to learning the college landscape. We will also have a question and answer time for you to share your questions and get feedback right on the spot.
College 101 workshops are typically available once per month. We offer in-person options on Main Campus or a virtual option to attend from home. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. You are welcome to bring a guest, if you choose.

* When registering for a College 101 hybrid session in Experience (Student Success Events card), you will receive information for both an in-person option and virtual option with a Zoom link for the event. You are welcome to choose your format on the day of the event.
