The economics discipline provides the theoretical framework to enable students to view economics as part of their lives and to encourage them to use economic thought in their decision making process.

Conduct research, prepare reports or formulate plans to address economic problems related to the production and distribution of goods and services or monetary and fiscal policy. May also collect and process economic and statistical data by using sampling techniques and econometric methods.
