There is no frigate like a bookThe late Dr. Betty B. Jones, former vice president at Delta College, was instrumental in Delta's partnership with the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) in Nakuru, Kenya. As a tribute to his late wife, Preston Jones, donated Betty’s collection of over 500 books to RVIST.

Preparing today’s students
for tomorrow’s workforceThe Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship has been helping Computer Numerical Control (CNC) students at Delta College for nearly ten years. This year, 15 CNC students were awarded a collective $36,000 to aid in pursuit of their manufacturing technology careers.

From welding student to world traveler
There are times when we take the advice of others and there are times when we must create our own paths. Delta College welding student and the recipient of two scholarships, from the Hebert Memorial and the Spittka Family, Kindra Manial is doing the latter.
