Enroll for January 2024 classes

November 6, 2023

Thinking about updating your skills? With 140+ career programs, Delta College has exactly what you’re looking for. And, best of all, you can get started quickly. Classes begin January 6 for the 2024 winter semester and right now is the perfect time to register.

Many adults choose Delta for the career programs, small classes and scheduling options.

Caroline Temple, Physical Therapist Assistant student, enjoys the hands-on emphasis of the program.

“Being able to physical pick up a dumbbell or TheraBand versus reading about the concept totally changes things," she said. "I’m a hands-on learner, and this program promotes that.”

You may qualify for free tuition!

Delta College, in partnership with Michigan Reconnect, is offering free in-district tuition to qualifying Michigan residents who want to earn an associate degree or certificate. Students outside Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties (Delta’s service district) will be responsible for the difference between in-district and out-of-district tuition and fees.

There's been an exciting expansion to the scholarship program. It's now open to people 21-24 years old, but it's for a limited time so apply now.

Requirements

  • Michigan resident for 1 year or more
  • At least 21 years of age
  • U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED
  • Do not currently hold a college or university degree

Apply

  1. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. You must complete a FAFSA each year. If you receive a Pell grant, those dollars will be applied to your student account first and Reconnect will be a last-dollar scholarship.
  2. Apply online for Michigan Reconnect at michigan.gov/reconnect.
  3. Apply to Delta College, if you haven’t already, at delta.edu/apply.

Flexible scheduling.

Worried about fitting college into your schedule? Don’t be. Delta has hundreds of class offerings from days and evenings to online and blended courses. Blended courses are the ones that are mostly online, but you come to campus a few times for a lab or presentation.

You can also take classes close to home at one of Delta’s centers in downtown Bay City, Midland or Saginaw.
